MY EMERGENCE AS RECTOR

The importance of putting up safety measures in our environments and certification of safety personnel cannot be over emphasized. To this effect the Rector signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Occupation Safety and Health Association-UK. This collaboration opened the certification of Health, Safety and Environment Training in the institution. The Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri became the training center for the South East and co-ordinates other tertiary institutions, companies and establishments who may deem it necessary to send their students and staff for training.
Rector donated two (2) lecture halls to OSHA-UK.
