INSTITUTIONAL BASED PROJECTS

Engr Dr Michael Chidiebere Arimanwa’s continuous search for proffering of solutions towards raising of academic standard and achievement of excellence via research works was consolidated through sourcing and activation of institutional based grants from Tertiary Education Fund (TETFUND)to the tune of over four hundred million naira (N400,000,000). Among the research works produced under the supervision of our pragmatic Rector include;

    The Electric car has dual charging systems of solar panels and household power. The vehicle has no engine but runs with DC Motor. The Rectors desire to tap alternative energy brought the idea of building vehicle that does not use fossil fuel. Majority of the raw material used in production of the “Nov 6 Yopart” was locally sourced in the institution.

    GAS FIRED CUBICLE FURNACE

    The gas fired cubicle furnace is classified as the fastest melting furnace with a capacity that melts steel at 1500c in less than 25 minutes which can mold any engine part. Melts non-ferrous metals at 560c-600c, Zinc at 419c, Copper at 1086c, Bronze at 900c. It is a bail out type of furnace cubicle.

    SURVEILLANCE AIR CRAFT (DRONE)

    The surveillance aircraft is unmanned and has the capacity to co-ordinate security checks to designated areas.

    RICE DESTONING MACHINE

    The Rice Destoning Machine as the name implies destones Rice, has the ability to separate chaff as well etc.
